Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care to pediatric patients in acute and critical care settings
- Administer and monitor complex respiratory equipment, including ventilators and aerosol devices
- Perform assessments and tailor respiratory therapy plans to meet individual patient needs
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
- Accurately document all care and patient responses in electronic medical records
- Educate patients and families on respiratory treatment and at-home care practices
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Current state respiratory therapy license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience in pediatric or neonatal respiratory care strongly preferred
- BLS and PALS certifications required
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Adaptability and a passion for working in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
