Located in Arnold, MO, this travel assignment places you in a city filled with rich history and an array of attractionsfrom the iconic Gateway Arch to dynamic entertainment districts and celebrated culinary scenes. Off the clock, enjoy adventure-packed weekends exploring Union Station, catching sports games, or sampling some of the nations finest brews.
Professionally, this opportunity immerses you in a renowned hospital, nationally recognized for trauma, stroke, and cardiac care. You'll be exposed to diverse patient populations, sophisticated equipment, and best-in-class clinical standards across the SICU, CCU, CVICU, ED, and neuro/trauma units. Working alongside talented clinicians and learning various approaches to critical care will broaden your expertise and enhance your career trajectory.
Schedule/Hours:
- Night shifts, 3x12 (1830 - 0700)
- Guaranteed 36 hours weekly
- 13-week assignment
Qualifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist, licensed with Missouri Board for Respiratory Care
- Current BLS and ACLS (AHA only)
- 1+ year of experience in adult critical care; high-volume, trauma ED experience preferred
- PALS certification preferred
- Proficiency with ventilators, BiPap, EMR (EPIC), and blood gas analysis
- Strong time management and collaborative spirit
Responsibilities:
- Deliver advanced respiratory care throughout all hospital units, from critical care to trauma/ED
- Float to areas as needed for departmental coverage
- Utilize high-tech equipment (Avea, LTV, V60, Bellavista ventilators, VapoTherm, Airvo)
- Draw/process blood gases, interpret results, and contribute to multidisciplinary patient care teams
- Uphold high standards of patient safety and care quality
