Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Active license as required by state regulations
- Recent experience in acute care or hospital settings
- Proficiency in ventilator management, arterial blood gas analysis, and patient assessment
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and deliver respiratory care to patients across diverse units, including trauma, NICU, pediatrics, and cardiology
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as oxygen therapy, aerosol medication delivery, and pulmonary function tests
- Manage advanced life support techniques, including mechanical ventilation and airway care
- Monitor patient responses, document interventions, and adjust care plans as indicated
- Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions and therapies to promote understanding and wellness
- Uphold the highest standards of safety, infection prevention, and patient advocacy
