Schedule/Hours:
- 36 hours per week
- Rotating schedule
- Every other weekend required
- Rotating holidays
Desired Experience & Skills:
- Certified Respiratory Therapist with current, valid certification
- Previous experience in respiratory care strongly preferred
- Proficiency in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating respiratory therapy for patients of varying ages and acuity levels
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Adaptable and collaborative within multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality respiratory care, including therapies, treatments, and patient education
- Utilize advanced equipment and professional judgment to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Accurately interpret physician orders and evaluate patient responses
- Maintain precise documentation in accordance with facility standards
- Participate in quality assurance and compliance activities
- Provide empathetic support and education to patients and families
