Schedule/Hours:

  • 36-hour workweek
  • Rotating schedule, every other weekend required
  • Rotating holidays

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility)
  • BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred
  • At least one year of clinical experience as a CRT in an acute care environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, monitor, and treat patients with respiratory disorders in adherence to physician directives
  • Administer therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, including nebulizer treatments, chest physiotherapy, and pulmonary function tests
  • Manage ventilators and airway equipment, ensuring optimal patient safety and comfort
  • Accurately document patient status and therapy outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
