Schedule/Hours:

  • 36-hour workweeks
  • Rotating shifts
  • Every other weekend and rotating holidays required

Qualifications:

  • Current Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential
  • Active state license (or eligibility to obtain in MA)
  • Recent clinical experience in acute care respiratory settings
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary staff
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and adapt to changing priorities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures per physician orders
  • Assess and monitor patient response to treatment and adjust therapies accordingly
  • Manage mechanical ventilation and complex airway management
  • Document treatment, observations, and progress in medical records
  • Respond to respiratory emergencies and participate in rapid response teams
  • Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and equipment use
