Virtual Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing | NC

VocoVision is looking for a proficient and seasoned Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to join our network in Kentucky. VocoVision is committed to supporting you throughout your journey to secure your ideal job. The perfect candidate will deliver teletherapy services to students in Kentucky school districts.

Job Description:
• Fully Remote
• Contract for 24/25 school year!
• Full-time - 37.5 hours a week
• Primary Duties include:
• Developing and implementing IEPs
• Adapt and modify curriculum or physical setting to meet the needs of the child
• General SEL and life skills with students on caseload.

Qualifications
• Master’s Degree in Teaching for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH)
• NC teaching Certification & DHH Endorsement
• At least 2 years experience. Virtual experience is a plus!
• Fluent in ASL not required- but highly encouraged

VocoVision Requirements:
• Must provide your own liability insurance
• Comfort in being an independent contractor
• Home computer with high internet speed
• Passed basic tech screening
