Qualifications:

Certified ASL interpreter: Hold a current national certification from a recognized organization (e.g., Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf [RID]).
Strong understanding of Deaf culture and interpreting ethics: Demonstrate sensitivity and respect for Deaf communication styles and needs.
Experience in educational settings preferred: Familiarity with school routines and interpreting for various learning activities is a plus.
