Job Description

Job Description: We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide dedicated 1:1 support to a middle school student in Easton, MD. This position involves assisting a student who requires specialized care, including tube feeding, seizure monitoring, and maintenance of oxygen levels throughout the school day. The nurse will also accompany the student on the school bus to and from school.

Responsibilities:

Administer tube feedings and medications as prescribed by the student's healthcare provider.
Monitor and manage the student's oxygen levels as needed.
Conduct regular seizure monitoring and respond promptly to any medical emergencies.
Accompany the student on the school bus, ensuring their safety and comfort during transportation.
Communicate effectively with the student, their family, school staff, and healthcare providers to coordinate care and ensure the student's health needs are met.
Maintain accurate health records and documentation related to the student's care plan.

Qualifications:

Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the state of Maryland.
Proficient in administering tube feedings, monitoring oxygen levels, and managing seizures.
Ability to ride the school bus with the student to and from school.
