This opportunity seeks a skilled Radiation Therapist to support cancer services within a dynamic oncology setting. The position involves working full-time, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, offering a consistent day shift schedule without weekend duties. Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current New York State Radiologic Technologists Therapy License is required.
  • Experience with Ethos or Varian radiation therapy machines is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and patient care.
  • Strong communication skills and adaptability to collaborate effectively across different teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver radiation therapy treatments to oncology patients following prescribed plans.
  • Operate and maintain Ethos or Varian equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Adhere strictly to safety policies, quality assurance protocols, and departmental procedures.
  • Support floating assignments across various radiation oncology locations as needed.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, 8-hour shifts.
