Job Description

Deliver specialized care as a Radiation Therapist, utilizing your expertise in cutting-edge technology to ensure exceptional patient outcomes. Schedule:

  • Day shift: Monday through Friday
  • Typical hours: 8:00 am 4:30 pm (5x8-hour shifts)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in radiation therapy
  • Certified by the American Board of Radiology in Radiation Therapy Physics
  • Masters or PhD degree from a CAMPEP-accredited program
  • Proficiency with Varian Truebeam (including service mode), Aria, and Eclipse systems
  • Working knowledge of Radformation and Sun Nuclear Products
  • Experience with Portal Dosimetry is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer precise radiation therapy treatments following physician-approved protocols
  • Operate and maintain Varian Truebeam and associated radiation equipment, ensuring accurate and safe delivery of treatment
  • Utilize Eclipse and Aria software for treatment planning, record-keeping, and documentation
  • Conduct and interpret dosimetric calculations and quality assurance checks with Sun Nuclear and Radformation products
  • Perform and analyze Portal Dosimetry studies to verify treatment accuracy
  • Collaborate with medical physicists, dosimetrists, and clinicians to optimize patient care
