Step into a rewarding travel assignment in a well-respected hospital celebrated for excellence in safety and patient care, including an A grade in hospital safety and national recognition for cardiac and trauma services. As a Radiation Therapist, youll collaborate with a highly skilled team in an environment that encourages professional growth through exposure to cutting-edge technologysuch as Elekta Versa, Varian HDR, Cyberknife, and the latest Radixact system, and advanced EMR platforms like Mosiaq and EPIC. This is an exceptional opportunity to broaden your experience with complex inpatient and outpatient cases, adapt to diverse workflows, and cultivate leadership skills alongside compassionate care professionals.
Schedule/Hours:
- Day shift: 5x8, 8-4:30 or 8:30-5:00 (dependent on patient load)
- Guaranteed 36 hours/week
- No weekends or call required
- 13-week assignment
Desired Qualifications:
- ARRT and RRA certifications; BLS (AHA only)
- Minimum 2 years of hospital-based Radiation Therapy experience
- Experience setting up and imaging patients for linac treatments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Preferred: familiarity with Elekta workflows (training provided if needed)
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments using advanced equipment
- Ensure safe, accurate patient positioning and treatment delivery
- Collaborate within a patient-centered, multidisciplinary team
- Maintain detailed electronic medical records
- Contribute to clinical excellence and patient satisfaction
