On the professional front, you will work within a dynamic radiology team recognized for safety, innovation, and excellence. Exposure to advanced technologies such as Elekta Versas, Varian HDR, Cyberknife, and the newly installed Radixact enriches your resume while allowing you to build your expertise with hospital-based inpatient and outpatient populations. The environment champions collaboration and a patient-centered approach, supporting your growth as you engage with high-level providers and witness diverse leadership styles.
Schedule:
- Day Shift: 5x8 hours (8:00-4:30 or 8:30-5:00, may vary with patient volume)
- 36 guaranteed weekly hours
- No weekends or call requirements
- 13-week assignment
Qualifications:
- ARRT and RRA certifications required
- BLS certification (AHA only)
- At least two years of hospital-based radiation therapy experience
- Proficiency with linear accelerator treatment and patient setup/imaging
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Adaptable, willing to learn Elekta workflows on site
- Experience with Elekta equipment preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments using state-of-the-art technology
- Collaborate as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team
- Prepare patients and equipment, ensuring safety and accuracy
- Maintain documentation in EMRs (Mosiaq and EPIC)
