Job Description
Join a specialized radiation oncology team in Portage, WI, as a Radiation Therapist providing advanced cancer treatment techniques in a fast-paced hospital setting. This contract role offers a focused Monday through Friday schedule, allowing for work-life balance without nights, weekends, or holiday shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver radiation therapy treatments using state-of-the-art equipment including Varian True Beam with Aria, Align RT, and Body ProLok One System.
- Perform complex procedures such as SBRT, VMAT, IMRT, and IGRT including CBCT, KV Imaging, and SGRT in a tattooless/markless environment.
- Follow established protocols for patient set-ups and safety to ensure precise treatment delivery.
- Maintain accurate documentation using Aria, Epic, and Eclipse systems.
- Adhere to strict safety and infection control policies including mandatory FIT testing requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of radiation therapy experience required.
- Valid ARRT-T certification and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
- Ability to comply with facility mask seal and shaving requirements for FIT testing (CAPRs/PAPRs not permitted).
- Commitment to professional appearance with designated uniform colors.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, typical hours 7:30 AM 4:00 PM with occasional shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
- No on-call, weekend, or holiday work required.
