A full-time Radiation Therapist opportunity is available within a reputable cancer services and oncology setting. This contract role offers a consistent Monday to Friday schedule, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, working five 8-hour shifts, with no weekend hours required. The primary location is a leading regional hospitals radiation oncology department in Pittsford, NY, with occasional floating to other radiation oncology facilities in the area.
Key responsibilities include delivering precise radiation therapy treatments using advanced technology, such as Ethos or Varian machines, for cancer patients. The role demands independent operation in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining high standards of safety and patient care. Strong communication and adaptability are essential to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist Therapy License
- Experience with Ethos or Varian radiation therapy equipment preferred
- Proven ability to work independently in a dynamic healthcare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
