Job Description
Seeking an experienced professional in Radiation Therapy with a robust technical background to provide specialized therapy services on a contract basis. The position operates on a consistent weekday schedule, with day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, offering stability and predictable hours.
Schedule:
- Day shift, Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
- 5 x 8-hour days per week
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in radiation therapy
- Certification: American Board of Radiology in Radiation Therapy Physics
- Masters or PhD from a CAMPEP-approved program
- Proficient in using Varian Truebeam systems (including service mode), Aria, and Eclipse
- Skilled with Radformation and Sun Nuclear products
- Demonstrated experience with Portal Dosimetry
- Strong analytical and technical skills, with meticulous attention to accuracy and safety
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver precise and safe radiation therapy utilizing advanced Varian equipment
- Assist in the planning and verification of complex treatment protocols using Eclipse and Aria software
- Apply quality assurance procedures with Sun Nuclear and Radformation tools
- Analyze portal dosimetry data to confirm treatment accuracy and patient safety
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary oncology teams to optimize patient care
- Maintain clear and thorough documentation in accordance with professional standards
- Adhere rigorously to all regulatory, safety, and ethical standards in a clinical setting
