Job Description

Seeking an experienced professional in Radiation Therapy with a robust technical background to provide specialized therapy services on a contract basis. The position operates on a consistent weekday schedule, with day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, offering stability and predictable hours.

Schedule:

  • Day shift, Monday to Friday
  • 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
  • 5 x 8-hour days per week

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in radiation therapy
  • Certification: American Board of Radiology in Radiation Therapy Physics
  • Masters or PhD from a CAMPEP-approved program
  • Proficient in using Varian Truebeam systems (including service mode), Aria, and Eclipse
  • Skilled with Radformation and Sun Nuclear products
  • Demonstrated experience with Portal Dosimetry
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with meticulous attention to accuracy and safety

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver precise and safe radiation therapy utilizing advanced Varian equipment
  • Assist in the planning and verification of complex treatment protocols using Eclipse and Aria software
  • Apply quality assurance procedures with Sun Nuclear and Radformation tools
  • Analyze portal dosimetry data to confirm treatment accuracy and patient safety
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary oncology teams to optimize patient care
  • Maintain clear and thorough documentation in accordance with professional standards
  • Adhere rigorously to all regulatory, safety, and ethical standards in a clinical setting
