Working in a well-respected, dynamic adult outpatient clinic, youll collaborate with dedicated oncology professionals, gaining insight into specialized procedures such as SRS (stereotactic radiosurgery) and SBRT (stereotactic body radiation therapy). This assignment allows for immediate clinical immersion, offering exposure to diverse treatment protocols and leadership styles, enhancing your resume for future roles.

Schedule:

  • 40 hours/week, 8-hour shifts (07:00 15:30)
  • 13-week assignment available
  • No call, float, or weekend requirements
  • Royal blue scrubs required (not provided)
  • Up to 7 days of pre-approved time off

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years as a Radiation Therapist
  • Registered with ARRT(T)
  • Experience with ARIA & True Beam is mandatory
  • Proficient in adult outpatient external beam therapy
  • Familiarity with Varis-Vision/ARIA record and verify systems

Preferred Experience:

  • Pretreatment experience with CT simulation and site simulation
  • CBCT/kV/mV imaging, stereotactic radiosurgery, IMRT, prostate cancer seed therapy, respiratory gating
  • BLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver external beam therapy effectively and safely for a variety of diagnoses, primarily for adult outpatients
  • Utilize True Beam equipment and ARIA/Epic systems
  • Participate in specialized procedures, supporting a team environment focused on patient care
  • Maintain thorough treatment records and communicate with multidisciplinary teams as needed
