As an experienced Radiation Therapist, youll collaborate with a team of dedicated oncology professionals, supporting individuals through crucial stages of their cancer care.

Schedule:

• Contract position

Responsibilities:

• Operate linear accelerators and other sophisticated equipment to accurately administer prescribed radiation doses.
• Collaborate with oncologists, medical physicists, and dosimetrists to review treatment plans and ensure patients receive optimal therapy.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families, explaining procedures and addressing questions or concerns.
• Monitor patient responses and side effects, communicating any changes to the care team.
• Maintain precise treatment records, adhering to safety regulations and hospital protocols.
• Ensure all quality assurance standards are met, routinely inspecting equipment and work areas.

Qualifications:

• Registry with ARRT in Radiation Therapy required.
• Current state licensure, or eligibility for licensure, as a Radiation Therapist.
• Demonstrated clinical experience operating radiation oncology equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, showing compassion and professionalism in patient interactions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is a plus.
