Job Description

Schedule:

  • Day shift: 8:00am4:30pm (flexibility as needed)
  • Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour shifts

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in radiation therapy
  • Certification by the American Board of Radiology
  • Advanced education: MS or PhD from a CAMPEP-accredited program in Radiation Therapy Physics
  • In-depth proficiency with Varian products, with hands-on experience using Truebeam (including service mode), Aria, and Eclipse
  • Demonstrated ability to work with Radformation and Sun Nuclear products
  • Familiarity with Portal Dosimetry is required

Role Responsibilities:

  • Operate state-of-the-art radiation equipment to administer precise treatment plans
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary oncology team to optimize patient outcomes
  • Perform comprehensive treatment planning, quality assurance, and equipment calibrations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technology issues, particularly with Varian systems
  • Maintain meticulous records and ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulatory standards
  • Educate and support patients and their families before, during, and after therapy sessions
