This opportunity seeks a skilled Radiation Therapist to support the Oncology department. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in radiation therapy procedures and patient care within a hospital setting, ensuring precise delivery of treatments aligned with safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform core radiation therapy functions, including treatment scheduling, simulation, patient set-up, and delivery of external beam radiation treatments with accuracy and efficiency.
• Demonstrate functional knowledge of radiation therapy equipment and adhere to radiation safety protocols.
• Assess patient needs throughout treatment, providing compassionate and attentive care.
• Complete patient charts accurately and promptly according to established guidelines.
• Apply knowledge of standard and advanced treatment calculations and plans.
• Design and fabricate treatment blocks accurately.
• Conduct simulation procedures independently with minimal supervision.
• Follow required scripting, safety barriers, and patient identification processes.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program.
• ARRT registration in radiation therapy is required.
• Current AHA BLS certification.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
