By stepping into this role as a Staff Radiation Therapist, youll broaden your expertise in a renowned Radiation Oncology Department. Working with a diverse patient population and alongside respected Radiation Oncologists, you will gain exposure to innovative workplace practices and a variety of leadership approaches, building your resume with valuable new experiences.

- Travel assignment
- Full-time hours
Qualifications and Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology program
- Current ARRT (T) certification
- State licensure (if required for GA practice)
- Experience in delivering ionizing radiation treatments, including complex and precise technical procedures
- Thorough understanding of radiation safety measures
- Ability to work collaboratively with oncologists, dosimetrists, and medical physicists
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed doses of radiation to patients as directed by the Radiation Oncologist
- Operate advanced radiation-producing equipment with high attention to safety
- Document all treatments and maintain accurate patient records
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols
- Monitor patient reactions and respond promptly to side effects or concerns
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
