Job Description

This role involves delivering expert radiation therapy treatments using advanced Varian Truebeam Linear Accelerators in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will treat a diverse inpatient and outpatient oncology population, with a patient caseload averaging over 70 daily, split between two treatment machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer radiation therapy with precision and patient safety in accordance with prescribed treatment plans.
  • Operate Varian Truebeam Linear Accelerators proficiently.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicists and providers to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Manage both inpatient and outpatient cases in a fast-paced setting.
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records using EPIC/Aria systems.
  • Support departmental workflow and may float to nearby sister facilities if needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 3-4 years experience as a Radiation Therapist.
  • Certification by ARRT-TS and current BLS certification required.
  • Comfortable working with an inpatient oncology population.
  • Proficiency with Varian Truebeam systems essential.
  • Familiarity with Aria electronic medical records strongly preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to float up to an hour away to sister facilities.
