Responsibilities:
- Simulate treatment set-ups and perform dosimetric calculations to ensure accurate radiation dosage
- Administer radiation therapy treatments according to prescribed plans
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and medical physicists to optimize patient outcomes
- Explain treatment plans and procedures clearly to patients and address their questions
- Calibrate and operate radiation delivery machinery safely and effectively
- Monitor patient reactions during and after treatment, ensuring safety and comfort
- Maintain comprehensive records of treatments and patient responses as part of care documentation
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Certification and licensure as a Radiation Therapist
