Schedule/Hours:
- Travel position with variable hours depending on facility needs
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Radiation Therapy or Radiologic Science (with certificate in radiation therapy from an accredited program)
- Registered or registry-eligible with the ARRT, to be obtained within one year of graduation from an accredited program
- Valid Massachusetts State license to practice
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- Minimum of two years of work experience in Radiation Therapy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments according to the oncologists specifications and departmental protocols
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures
- Accurately document treatments and patient responses
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient outcomes
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment in accordance with safety regulations and best practices
