Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed courses of ionizing radiation therapy to patients.
• Calculate procedure details such as exposure time, dosage size and strength, and equipment settings.
• Monitor and assess patients physiological and psychological responses daily to ensure high-quality care.
• Educate patients and the local community about radiation therapy.
• Assist with billing and coding related to radiation therapy treatments.
• Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to seamless clinical operations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Associates degree in Radiation Therapy or Radiation Technology required.
• Previous work experience as a Radiation Therapist is essential.
• Valid Wyoming Radiation Technologist license in good standing with the regulatory board.
• Current ARRT registration, maintained in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 60 days of hire and must be maintained.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, oncology pathology, radiation biology and oncology techniques, treatment planning, and dosimetry.
• Demonstrated compassion, professionalism, and superior customer service skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with colleagues and patients.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality and ethical accountability.
• Proficiency or willingness to learn relevant computer software.
