Job Description
A 13-week travel assignment is available for a Radiation Therapist specializing in Radiation Therapy. This role requires a minimum of two years of experience in the specialty and current AHA BLS certification. The position is located in Canton, GA, at a specialized cancer treatment center.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Deliver precise radiation therapy treatments to patients following prescribed protocols.
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment while ensuring safety standards.
- Collaborate with oncologists, medical physicists, and other healthcare professionals to plan and administer patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and document treatment details accurately.
- Educate patients and families on treatment procedures and safety measures.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Radiation Therapist.
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Proficiency in operating radiation therapy technology.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
