Job Description
A full-time Radiation Therapist opportunity is available for an experienced professional holding a current New York State Radiologic Technologists Therapy License. This contract position involves working Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, supporting oncology patients primarily at a leading cancer services facility with potential floating to other radiation oncology locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer precise radiation therapy treatments using advanced technology including Ethos or Varian machines.
- Independently deliver patient care within a fast-paced cancer services environment.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active NYS Radiation Therapist license required.
- Hands-on experience operating Ethos or Varian radiation therapy equipment is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with adaptability and teamwork focus.
- Dependable, punctual, and flexible with ability to adjust to departmental needs.
