Job Description

A career opportunity is available for a skilled Radiation Therapist to support cancer treatment services within a well-established Oncology department. This full-time position offers a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekend shifts required. You will work primarily at a leading hospitals Radiation Oncology division, with some flexibility to rotate across other Radiation Oncology locations as needed.

Responsibilities include delivering precise radiation therapy treatments using advanced technology such as Ethos or Varian machines, following established protocols to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, while maintaining excellent communication with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and their families.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current New York State Radiologic Technologist Therapy License is mandatory.
  • Experience operating Ethos or Varian radiation therapy equipment highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively and work with reliability and punctuality.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and maintaining a safe treatment environment.
