An opportunity is available for a skilled Radiation Therapist to provide expert care within an oncology setting. This contract position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, supporting a well-established healthcare team in delivering precise radiation treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute core Radiation Therapist duties including patient scheduling, simulation, setup, and treatment delivery.
• Operate department equipment with proficiency and maintain a thorough understanding of its components.
• Administer external beam radiation treatments accurately and efficiently.
• Assess and address patient conditions and needs during treatment.
• Follow and uphold Radiation Safety protocols.
• Complete patient documentation accurately and in a timely manner according to established standards.
• Apply knowledge in treatment planning and calculations, including designing and fabricating treatment blocks.
• Perform simulations independently with a high degree of accuracy.
• Use appropriate scripting and patient identification methods consistently.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Graduate from an accredited radiation therapy program.
• Active ARRT registration in Radiation Therapy.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
