A skilled Radiation Therapist is needed for a contract opportunity in Bayfield, WI, operating a cutting-edge linear accelerator and CT scanner within a focused radiation therapy department. This role demands precise expertise in delivering advanced radiation treatments using the latest technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy treatments using IMRT, SBRT, and SRS protocols.
• Conduct CT simulations independently to prepare patients for therapy.
• Utilize respiratory gating and surface tracking techniques to enhance treatment accuracy (preferred).
• Operate the Varian TruBeam system with proficiency.
• Collaborate with the Radiation Oncologist and adhere to department protocols.
• Maintain accurate electronic records using Epic, Aria, and PACS systems.
• Manage approximately 15 scans/studies daily without needing to float to other areas.
• Uphold patient safety and comfort throughout treatment procedures.

Qualifications:

• Active ARRT certification as a Radiation Therapist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of one year in a permanent Radiation Therapist role; first-time travelers encouraged.
• Experience with Varian TruBeam equipment, with demonstrated SBRT and SRS treatment expertise.
• Familiarity with respiratory gating and surface tracking techniques is preferred but not required.
• IV start capability is a plus, though not mandatory.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
