Essential Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Radiation Therapy required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Active Radiation Therapist state license
- 1+ years of continuous, hands-on clinical experience in radiation therapy
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiation Therapy preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
- Proficiency in ARIA, EPIC, ExacTrac, Eclipse, and related oncology and hospital information systems
- Demonstrated understanding of all radiation therapy equipment, tools, and procedures
- Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential patient information with discretion
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver accurate and compassionate radiation therapy treatments to patients, following prescribed protocols and safety standards
- Maintain and troubleshoot therapy equipment, ensuring optimal functionality
- Utilize advanced Oncology Information Systems to document and manage patient care
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, peers, and interdisciplinary teams
- Provide patient and family education with empathy and clarity
