Role Overview: As a Radiation Therapist, youll administer precise radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures. You will play a vital role in patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team while keeping patient comfort and safety as top priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver prescribed radiation treatments accurately and safely
  • Operate and maintain complex radiation equipment
  • Communicate effectively with patients, offering support and guidance throughout treatments
  • Strictly document treatments and maintain compliance with protocols
  • Collaborate with a diverse healthcare team to assure quality care

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Radiation Therapy or Radiologic Science with certificate in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program
  • Currently registered or eligible for registry by ARRT; must obtain registration within one year of graduation
  • Valid Massachusetts State license
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification
  • Minimum two years relevant experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
