Job Description

Deliver advanced cancer care as part of a dedicated oncology team in a contract role focused on radiation therapy. This position centers on providing precision treatment and compassionate patient support over a 13-week assignment.

Schedule:

  • 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday

Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT (T) certification required
  • BLS (AHA) certification required
  • Experience with Varian equipment highly preferred
  • New graduates will be considered
  • Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer radiation treatments as prescribed by the radiation oncologist, ensuring patient safety and dosage accuracy
  • Perform imaging for planning and targeting, including CT simulations for precise treatment set-ups
  • Create immobilization and treatment devices tailored to individual patient needs
  • Operate CT scanner and MED RAD power injector for IV contrast administration
  • Analyze cross-sectional images and evaluate treatment plans
  • Conduct blood draws and support ongoing clinical assessments
  • Deliver patient education regarding the treatment process and provide emotional reassurance
  • Maintain meticulous documentation and uphold all clinical standards

$2,270 - $2,394/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
