We are actively interviewing Licensed Nurses who are interested in pursuing a Pediatric position in a school-based setting. This unique job opportunity helps support student with special needs attend school. We are eager to schedule interviews with licensed RNs and LPNs for Full-Time, Contracted roles during the 2023-24 School Year. (Details listed below)

Responsibilities:

Provide direct healthcare services to students, including first aid, injury assessment, and medication administration.
Assess and manage the health needs of students with chronic illnesses and special healthcare requirements.
Develop and implement health education programs to promote a culture of wellness among students and staff.
Maintain accurate and confidential health records for all students, ensuring compliance with state and school district regulations.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to create individualized healthcare plans for students with specific needs.
Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care as necessary.
Conduct health screenings and immunization assessments as mandated by state guidelines.
Participate in school safety and emergency preparedness initiatives.
Promote a safe and hygienic school environment.

Qualifications:

Valid state nursing license (RN or LPN) and school nurse cert.
Pediatric nursing experience is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff.
CPR and First Aid certification.
Willingness to undergo a background check.
