Paraprofessional School opening – Frenchtown, MT
Sunbelt is seeking a Paraprofessional to fulfill a current open need within a Frenchtown, MT area school district! This Position would start at the beginning of the 2024/2025 school year and fulfill the remainder of the school year with an option to renew for the summer and the following school year. This supportive district is looking for someone to jump right in and hit the ground running.
Job Description:

Full-Time, 32.5 hours a week – 2024/2025 school year.
Onsite
Ability to manage student behavior, maintain physical safety and implement appropriate classroom management procedures.
Assist with implementation of behavior and crisis plans.
Provide for personal, behavioral, and social growth of students.
Ability to work collaboratively.
Provide individual and special program assistance on assignment basis, to include:
- Assisting students with physical and/or cognitive impairments with moving through their day
- Assisting students with self-care tasks of feeding, dressing and toileting
- Assisting with physical care which may include lifting, restraining, changing.
- Assisting students with academic and functional skills curriculum
- Accompany and assist students on bus rides, field trips, work students or other school-related activities.
Caseload details will be further discussed based on experience within the interview. Mild-moderate, Elementary, and middle School caseloads available.

Requirements:

High School Diploma
Prior School Experience preferred.
Must be comfortable working with special education population.
Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check
