Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, clean, sterilize, and assemble surgical instruments and equipment following strict protocols
- Inspect instruments for cleanliness and proper function prior to use
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and inventory
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure availability and readiness of sterile supplies
- Adhere to infection control standards and safety regulations at all times
- Assist with quality control and equipment maintenance as needed
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (CSPDT or equivalent)
- Proven experience in sterile processing within a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of sterilization techniques, microbiology, and infection control practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork-oriented attitude
