Deliver critical support within a fast-paced healthcare environment by ensuring the highest standards of instrument sterilization and surgical suite readiness. This contract opportunity calls for an experienced, certified Sterile Processing Technician with a focus on maintaining patient safety and supporting surgical teams in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. 5:30 p.m. (subject to change based on patient care needs)
• No overtime
• On-call rotation: 6 days each month, including 1 weekend per month

Qualifications:

• Current Sterile Processing Technician Certification (Certified SPT)
• Demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of sterile processing
• Experience working in facilities with multiple operating and endoscopy rooms preferred
• Comprehensive understanding of infection prevention and regulatory standards
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, detail-oriented environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and equipment
• Support four inpatient operating rooms, five outpatient operating rooms, and two outpatient endoscopy rooms
• Verify and track inventory levels, alerting supervisors to low stock or maintenance issues
• Ensure all instrumentation meets sterilization assurance standards
• Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and compliance guidelines
• Respond efficiently to surgical team requests and urgent operating room needs
• Participate in scheduled on-call responsibilities

$1,331 - $1,408/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
