A night shift opportunity is available for an experienced professional in central sterile processing. This contract role calls for a dedicated, detail-oriented individual for a dynamic healthcare environment, ensuring the safe and efficient management of surgical instruments and sterile supplies.

Schedule:

• 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each (5x8s)
• Night shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM
• Weekend and holiday rotation required

Key Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of previous travel experience in a similar role
• Minimum of 2 years effective work experience in sterile processing
• High School Diploma or GED
• Central Service Certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Background in both Nursing Sterile Processing and Certified Sterile Processing Tech responsibilities
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced setting
• Commitment to adhering to all scheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform decontamination, inspection, assembly, and sterilization of medical equipment and instruments according to safety and infection control protocols
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, equipment testing, and sterilization processes
• Collaborate with surgical teams, nursing staff, and other departments to ensure equipment availability and functionality
• Uphold strict adherence to industry, state, and facility sterilization standards
• Support ongoing process improvements and compliance with best practices

$1,548 - $1,632/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
