Deliver exceptional patient care and support in a dynamic surgical services environment as a Certified Sterile Processing Technician. In this key role, youll ensure that surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized, prepared, and available to meet the needs of multiple operating and endoscopy suites.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• On Call: 6 days each month, including 1 weekend per month
• No overtime; schedule may adjust according to unit needs

Required Skills & Experience:

• Current Certified Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) credential
• Knowledge of proper sterilization techniques, equipment operation, and infection control practices
• Previous experience supporting operating rooms and endoscopy suites is highly valued
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills within a healthcare team

Role Duties:

• Carefully decontaminate, assemble, and sterilize all surgical instruments and trays for 4 inpatient operating rooms, 5 outpatient operating rooms, and 2 outpatient endoscopy rooms
• Maintain compliance with established sterilization protocols and infection prevention standards
• Organize and track surgical instrumentation using documentation systems to ensure timely availability
• Partner with clinical staff to accommodate procedure schedules and urgent needs as they arise
• Respond promptly and effectively during assigned on-call shifts

$1,331 - $1,408/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
