Job Description

Deliver exceptional patient care as a skilled RN specializing in Telemetry nursing. Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active RN license in the state of California
  • At least one year of recent experience in Telemetry or step-down units
  • Proficiency with cardiac monitoring, interpretation of rhythms, and patient assessment
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor cardiac status of patients by reviewing telemetry data, recognizing changes, and responding promptly to emergent situations
  • Administer medications and implement physician orders per established protocols
  • Perform regular assessments and document patient condition, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
  • Communicate significant changes in patient status to physicians and other care team members
  • Educate patients and their families regarding cardiac care, medications, and lifestyle modifications
  • Support a safe, patient-focused environment by adhering to established best practices and protocols
