Unit Highlights
- Unit: Neuro Trauma (36 beds)
- Collaborative staff70 healthcare professionals
- Nurse-to-patient ratios: (approx.) 1:6
- Advanced equipment: Kangaroo Pumps; EMR: Meditech/CPN
Qualifications
- Active RN license with a minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital telemetry experience
- Current BLS & ACLS certifications
- High value placed on a positive, flexible, and engaged approach to patient care
- Preferred: NIH certification, experience with Meditech, and previous large trauma facility experience
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient-centered care within a fast-paced neuro trauma/telemetry environment
- Administer and monitor medication drips, bubble studies, and EEG procedures
- Collaborate effectively with RNs, patient care techs, and unit clerks to ensure optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records using Meditech/CPN
