This is a valuable opportunity for Registered Nurses specializing in Telemetry to broaden their perspectives by working alongside experienced teams and adapting to new care technologies, such as Meditech EMR. Youll further elevate your resume with experience gained in a dynamic, 29-bed medical/telemetry unit, supported by knowledgeable staff and the opportunity to deepen your practice in a high-acuity environment.
Schedule:
- 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM shifts
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital Telemetry experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
- Preferred: NIH certification and prior Meditech EMR exposure
- Strong critical thinking, positive attitude, and ability to work independently
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care, monitor patients on telemetry, and perform bedside procedures such as central line monitoring and administering medication drips
- Collaborate within a team of 5 RNs and 3 Patient Care Techs per shift to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
- Utilize state-of-the-art equipment, including PCA and IV pumps, while conforming to best practices for patient safety and documentation
