Schedule:

• 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
• Night shift, 3rd floor Telemetry unit

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong background in cardiac and telemetry nursing
• Experience with PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR system is preferred
• Positive, engaged, and independent work style, with proven critical thinking abilities

Preferred Experience:

• Handling central lines and medication drips
• Heart cath recovery and bubble studies
• Comfortable working with a patient ratio of 1:6 (1:4 for heart cath patients)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care and monitoring to patients on a 37-bed Telemetry unit
• Efficiently manage patient assignments, assess conditions, and promptly detect changes
• Administer medications and therapies according to established protocols
• Collaborate with a skilled team of 8 RNs and 3 Patient Care Techs per shift
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members
• Maintain accurate documentation in the Meditech EMR system
