This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in Telemetry to deliver high-quality care in a dynamic Intermediate Care environment. You will be part of a dedicated team providing specialized care to patients recovering from heart catheterizations and those requiring ongoing cardiac monitoring.

Schedule:

• 7:00 AM 7:00 PM

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Prior experience in a telemetry or intermediate care setting is preferred
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR is an advantage
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently
• Positive, engaged attitude, and a collaborative approach with team members

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and assessing telemetry patients, including those recovering from heart catheterizations and with central lines
• Administering medications, IV fluids, and managing medication drips
• Utilizing PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes as needed
• Coordinating with a cohesive team that includes RNs, patient care techs, and unit clerks to ensure seamless patient care
• Maintaining accurate documentation within the Meditech electronic medical records system
• Adhering to unit guidelines and policies while supporting an environment focused on patient safety and positive outcomes
