Schedule/Hours:
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend (EOW) requirement
- Holiday rotation
Qualifications:
- Valid and active RN license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
- Previous experience with cardiac drips, specifically amiodarone and Cardizem
- Prior experience in a telemetry setting highly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe and effective nursing care to telemetry patients, monitoring vital signs and responding to changing patient conditions
- Administer and titrate cardiac drips, such as amiodarone and Cardizem, following established protocols
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement care strategies
- Adhere to facility policies regarding patient safety, documentation, and compliance standards
- Provide compassionate support and education to patients and families
