In this role, youll float between various Med Surg Tele units, ensuring you gain experience across multiple specialties while working with experienced teams. Night shift hours (7P7A, 36 hours per week) provide a balanced schedule, including one weekend shift per weekor two every other weekendand at least one holiday during the contract duration. The 16-week assignment demands both flexibility and adaptability, as you may be asked to adjust your schedule according to the facilitys evolving needs.
Qualifications:
- Active NY RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute med surg/tele experience (2 years preferred)
- 2 years of U.S. work experience for non-U.S. candidates
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Experience with EPIC charting preferred
- Reside at least 50 miles away from the facility
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive patient care across all Med Surg Tele units as assigned
- Float between units to support staffing needs
- Accurately document in EPIC and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
- Demonstrate flexibility by adapting to schedule or unit changes as needed
