A nursing opportunity is available for a registered nurse experienced in telemetry care at a medical unit specializing in complex care. This position offers a 13-week contract with night shifts, ideal for professionals seeking a focused and engaging work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled nursing care in a 37-bed acute med-surg/telemetry unit
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver patient-centered care
  • Utilize EPIC for accurate and timely charting
  • Maintain flexibility to float to other units as required
  • Support charge nurse responsibilities, with training available
  • Adhere to facility scheduling needs including weekend and holiday shifts

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active New York State RN license
  • NIH AHA BLS certification
  • Minimum 1 year recent experience in acute med-surg/telemetry nursing; 2 years preferred
  • For non-U.S. candidates, at least 2 years of U.S. healthcare work experience is required
  • Ability to work night shifts: 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with 36 to 48 hours weekly
  • Willingness to work one weekend per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend, including at least one holiday per contract
  • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
