Schedule Details:
- Every other weekend (EOW)
- Every other holiday (EOH)
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active RN license
- At least one year of recent experience on a telemetry unit
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring and telemetry equipment
- Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to respond swiftly to changes in patient conditions
- Professional communication and teamwork abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct ongoing assessments and continuous monitoring of cardiac patients
- Interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to rhythm changes
- Administer medication and manage IV therapies per physician instructions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families about cardiac conditions, treatments, and self-care
- Document care in compliance with regulations and facility policies
