In this travel role, you will work in a dynamic Cardiac Telemetry unit, utilizing advanced EMR technology and contributing to high-quality patient care. This assignment is ideal for RNs who thrive in fast-paced environments and value continuous skill building. Schedule/Hours:
- Nights (must be available for Memorial Day and 4th of July weekends/days)
- 36 hours guaranteed weekly
- Weekend hours and call as needed
Qualifications:
- Current RN license for Missouri
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- 2+ years of experience in Cardiac Telemetry or similar acute care units
- Experience with EPIC EMR system preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and effective communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled, compassionate care to cardiac telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes efficiently
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient progress
- Float to similar units as required
- Maintain professional bedside manner and uphold a positive unit culture
