This opportunity means exposure to a wide range of patient diagnoses including acute and chronic medical conditions, cardiac events, and complex post-surgical care. Working on high-acuity Med/Surg Telemetry units (20-36 beds each), youll gain experience with advanced drips, telemetry monitoring, and specialized proceduresenhancing both your clinical skills and versatility. Floating between units exposes you to a myriad of leadership styles and best practices, broadening your professional perspective. During your downtime, explore the best of Central Georgias natural parks, museums, and renowned eateries.

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour shifts: 7A-7P or 7P-7A
• Weekend rotation: 5-6 shifts per 6-week cycle
• Holiday rotation required (one shift for each major holiday)
• No on-call required

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg Tele experience
• BLS required, ACLS preferred (must pass EKG test during onboarding)
• Telemetry and strong assessment skills, post-cath care, and proficiency with cardiac drips
• Confident with trach, chest tube management, PIV/IV tasks, glucommander, and complex care coordination
• EPIC EMR experience a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, compassionate care to a med/surg telemetry patient population
• Monitor, assess, and interpret cardiac rhythms
• Administer and titrate advanced drips
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for discharge planning and education
• Float to other Med/Tele units as needed
